DEAR FRIENDS, INDOMITABLE FARMERS OF ODESA REGION!

Add to favourites

👊🏻Сьогодні we are celebrating a special date - the anniversary of the establishment of our NGO, which de facto was born in May 2019 around the problem of the first year of severe drought in Bessarabia. Since May 2021, we have already become more than 1000 legal entities and we were de jure born as AFB "AGRARIANS OF BESSARABIA". Again, since May, but already in 2022, when all the agrarians of our region joined us and we, with great love for our native land, faith in the power of the common cause and an unwavering desire to preserve and revive the agrarian heart of our region, we have grown rapidly and de jure formed into a regional structure for the development of the agricultural sector NGO "Agrarians of Odesa Region".
In fact, we are 6 years old!

🙌We were united by a common goal - not just to sow bread, but to keep hope alive. We grew rapidly, and from the very first days of our existence we were not just a professional community - we became a family that stuck together in the most difficult times.

We have survived terrible droughts, when the earth cracked with pain and the eyes of every farmer were filled with tears. We did not give up. We were the first to start the fight to restore irrigation. Odesa region was chosen as a pilot region for the reclamation of land because it is home to those who are not afraid to take responsibility and those who act!

💥Then came the war. A black cloud of burning and anxiety covered Ukraine. Agrarians of Odesa region were the first to stand by the army, the first to bring grain, machinery, fuel, bread, milk - everything - to help neighbouring regions, because they understood that a strong army means a strong village and a strong country.

And even when rockets were flying over the fields, when the crops were burning and the ground was shaking from explosions, we did not stop sowing. We went out into the fields, not knowing whether we would return or not. We harvested the crops - under the threat of attacks, to the sound of sirens, sometimes silently with tears, but always with dignity. Because love for the land is not a profession. It is a calling. It is life.

We have survived. We have become stronger. Even more unbreakable.
And the main thing is that we have not only not lost, but also strengthened our faith. Faith in people. Faith in victory. Faith in Ukraine.

🤝Today I bow low to each of you.
For those who work the land - in the conditions of war.
Those who share the latter with the frontline.
Those who sow will reap ashes.
To those who hold the rear - so that the enemy trembles.
Thank you for your heart, for your work, for your humanity.
May God bless you and your families.
May the rains fall on time and the harvests be bountiful.
May peace return to our land, and may we never hear explosions again, ever. Only the laughter of children and the rustle of wheat.

💙💛Love,
yours Alla STOYANOVA,
Head of the NGO "Agrarians of Odesa Region"
