Today is a holiday for those who hold communities on their shoulders. Those who make decisions every day under the sound of alarms, under the roar of war, under the pressure of pain - and still choose to work. They choose responsibility. They choose Ukraine.
Hromadas of Odesa Oblast - strong, lively, hardworking. The southern land, nourished by the labour of farmers, is warmed by faith in Victory.
There are heads of communities, deputies, starostas, accountants, engineers, land surveyors, educators, doctors, and volunteers. People of action. People of honour. People who did not betray their land.
Every road restored. Every school with open doors. Every light in the window after the shelling is a feat of daily, quiet work. A feat without loud scenes, without fanfare, without pathos.
I bow to those who work to the limit of their abilities. Those who have not broken down. To those who keep Ukraine alive.
I believe in the wisdom of local decisions. I believe in the power of amalgamated communities. I believe in the South that will survive. I believe in the day when, instead of sirens, calm wind and children's laughter will sound over the fields.
Let warmth live in your hearts. Let your hands not tremble with fatigue, but with pride. May you have a shoulder of support by your side. May every day give you the strength to win - at work, in the fight, in life.
Let's keep working. For the land. For the people. For Ukraine.
To the Victory.
Sincerely, Alla Stoyanova.
