On 09 August, the Odesa Craft Business Forum was held, which became a real celebration for local producers and visitors. The Presidential initiative "Made in Ukraine" is working and gaining momentum: great attention to detail, quality ingredients and production "as if for yourself" are not only the hallmarks of craft products, but also what modern consumers are looking for.

The event brought together 58 craft producers, among whom the representatives of Bolgrad district, who were in the majority. The business forum was a unique opportunity to meet representatives of industries that produce value-added products (dairy products, flour and cereal products, juices, jams, honey, meat, bakery and confectionery products, aquaculture products, fruit and vegetable products, textiles and ceramics).

Each of the participants demonstrated the richness and diversity of traditional crafts of Odesa region: from doll making to the best sheep cheese.

For example, Bessarabian Farm presented its products: sheep cheese and kavarma. Their table was constantly attracting visitors' attention, which indicates a high demand for natural and authentic products. Visitors noted that Bessarabian Farm's cheese has a special taste that conveys the spirit of local traditions and a sense of authentic quality.

Such forums are important not only for the promotion of local producers, but also for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Odesa region.

Alla STOYANOVA emphasises that "From patriotic sentiments caused by the war to the growing demand for healthy products, these trends not only change people's buying habits, but also create opportunities for craftsmen. Craft products are a highlight of the Odesa region. These events help not only preserve our traditions but also open them up to a wider audience. I am grateful to the Department of Economics of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Odesa Regional Development Agency for the professional organisation of the forum and the quality of their work. We have to expand the roads of wine and taste so that as many people as possible learn about our unique products. Through events like this forum, craft producers get the opportunity to showcase their talents, share experiences and find new opportunities for development. At the same time, visitors can get to know the diversity of local crafts and taste products that reflect the unique culture and traditions of Odesa region. The craft business is an opportunity to showcase your uniqueness and create unique products by putting your heart and soul into them. The government actively supports the craft business because such entrepreneurs create new jobs, develop the local economy, promote Ukrainian products and increase tax revenues to the budget," says Alla STOYANOVA.
