📄 In the city of Izmail, the following events took place meeting of the members of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council - The organisation has long been not just a representative of farmers, but a true voice of the country's agricultural producers. This time, the most active participants in the southern agricultural sector - farmers from Izmail region - joined the dialogue to discuss not only the current challenges but also new ways for sustainable development under martial law.
📣The conversation was frank. The audience raised questions about land bank protection, legal aid, irrigation, blocking tax invoices, and interaction with local authorities. The key speakers were Alla Stoyanova, member of the Board of the UACUU, owner of Stoyanov A.A., Serhii Parovyk, member of the Board of the UACUU, owner of Novator LLC, and Serhii Ulchenko, Director of Regional Development and land lawyer.
💬"Today, when every agricultural enterprise is an outpost of the country's food security, we must stand together. The UAC is a platform for those who are ready not only to work but also to influence decisions. We need to hear each other, help each other and become stronger through unity," said Serhii Parovyk.
✍🏻Особливо The presentation by Alla Stoyanova, a regional leader who has long been known for her deep understanding of agricultural policy, provoked an active discussion. She was asked questions about specific situations in the field of land legislation, tax pressure and blocking of farm activities. Her advice has become a guiding light for many farmers.
💬"The agricultural sector was left without a specialised ministry. And it is at times like these that we should not close ourselves off, but rather join associations and look for common solutions. The UAC is about standing shoulder to shoulder, supporting each other, and unity in times of stormy challenges. These meetings are about forming a new community of agrarians who want to be directors of change, not just statists. After all, it is the farmers of Odesa region who have always been the first to take action where it is difficult. First in harvests, first in reforms, first in the fight for truth and development. Today, they are setting the tone again. And this tone is about mutual support, professionalism and unwavering faith in the Ukrainian village," Alla Stoyanova said.
One of the most important topics of the meeting was The issue of restoring the irrigation systemwhich is critically important for agriculture of Odesa region - region, which is particularly affected by climate change and water shortages. Alla Stoyanova spoke about a comprehensive project to restore irrigation from Izmail to Podilsk, developed on the basis of in-depth analysis, dialogue with farmers and the involvement of scientists.
💬"Irrigation is about sustainability, yields, jobs, food security and the future of the countryside. "Our project is not fragments, but a holistic vision: from infrastructure to management, from state involvement to a private partner. And we will ensure that this project becomes a reality for every agricultural producer in Odesa region - regardless of scale," Alla Stoyanova emphasised.
Similarly, several important meetings were held in the village of Tuzly, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (a seminar on the use of grain sleeves) and in Sarata.
🌻 Fields where the future of Ukrainian agriculture is ripening
During the trip to Izmail, members of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council visited the fields of the Stoyanov A.A. farm, and it was a real immersion into the future of Ukrainian agricultural production, which combines tradition, innovation and faith in the potential of the land.
Confectionery sunflower is ripening in these fields, like gold on the horizon. Rice, a crop that is a symbol of the revival of irrigation in Odesa region, is growing here. And also cotton! A symbol of new ambitions and experiments that can change the agricultural map of southern Ukraine.
The guests were impressed not only by the diversity of cultures, but also by the care with which every hectare is worked on. For the Stoyanov family, land is not just a resource. It is a home, a mission, a responsibility. And it is exactly these farms that are the backbone of Ukraine's agricultural front.
