UKRAINIAN-JAPANESE COOPERATION IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR: NEXT STEPS

Add to favourites

On 12 March, Ukrainian agricultural experts met online with representatives of the Japanese company KAKUICHI. It was a dialogue between two worlds - Ukrainian farmers, hardened in the struggle for fertile land, and Japanese innovators offering advanced technologies to revive it.

The meeting began with the most important news - the nanobubble technology equipment has already arrived at Stoyanov A.A. Farm! It was donated by KAKUICHI, and it is not just equipment, but a chance to change the approach to soil nutrition and plant growth.

Nanobubbles are a small revolution in big agriculture. They can saturate the soil with oxygen, improve the absorption of moisture and nutrients, and create a favourable environment for the root system. This is a technology that can give new life to even depleted land.

The second important point of discussion was the installation of the equipment. Ukrainian specialists discussed the installation stage in detail with their Japanese colleagues, as the efficiency of the tests depends on the accuracy of this process. It is not just a matter of connecting the system - it is also important to configure it so that it meets the climatic conditions of the southern part of Odesa region, the type of soil and the characteristics of the crops grown.

However, the main intrigue of the meeting was the agreement on further testing. From 20 to 24 March, a key meeting with representatives of KAKUICHI and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be held in Poland to discuss the terms of reference for testing the equipment. This is a step towards the future, where Ukrainian fields will become laboratories of innovation, and our farmers will be the first to evaluate the effectiveness of this unique technology in real-world conditions.

"Today we are holding not just equipment, but a symbol of trust, support and common belief in Revival of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. At a time when our country is going through its greatest challenges, such technologies are becoming a lifeline for us. We are grateful to KAKUICHI, our friends in Poltava and our Japanese colleagues for their generosity and for seeing us not only as partners but also as allies in the fight for global food security. The Ukrainian land is strong, and together with such advanced technologies, it has a future. This is another proof that we will not only restore agribusiness, but also make it even more progressive and sustainable! Interaction with KAKUICHI is not just a partnership. It is a bridge between the past and the future, between traditions and technology, between struggle and victory. And we are building this bridge together," says Alla Stoyanova .

The meeting demonstrated: Ukraine is keeping pace with the times, using the best global developments. In cooperation with Japan, we are not only restoring the agricultural sector, but also laying the foundation for its prosperity for many years to come. After all, Ukrainian land is its strength, and innovations are its future.
