UKRAINE-JAPAN SYNERGY OPENS UP NEW HORIZONS

Add to favourites

📄On 16 May, the Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an event that became a symbol of new economic opportunities for the south of Ukraine - a business meeting "Made in Ukraine - Made for Japan: Opportunities and Development of Odesa Region".

The room was filled with the energy of entrepreneurs, exporters, cluster representatives, logisticians, economists and analysts. Dozens of interested businessmen from different parts of Ukraine joined the discussion online. The agenda included not just words, but concrete mechanisms for how a Ukrainian product will find its consumer in Japan, a country that values quality, innovation and sustainability.

💬Alla Stoyanova, deputy of the Odesa Regional Council, expert and initiator of many economic forums, shared her vision:
"Japan is a model of precision, purity of thought and action. They say little but do a lot. During my recent trip to Japan, I was impressed by the technology of KAKUICHI - nanobubbles that saturate the soil with oxygen and increase yields without harming the environment. We, Ukrainians, can offer Japan what it values most - natural quality. We have the land, they have the technology. Together we can grow a confident future."

Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Alexander Gaidu stressed the importance of practical activity:
"We should not just dream of exporting, but build a bridge - analytical, logistical, and diplomatic. Such events are not just a conversation. It is a signal that Ukrainian business is ready and willing to be part of the global market."

💬Host of the meeting, Head of the Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Trifon Antsdrew attention to the strategic role of Odesa as a window to Asia:
"It is no coincidence that we initiated this dialogue in Odesa. Our region is a transport hub, an agricultural centre and a place of concentration for small and medium-sized businesses. Japan is a challenge, but also a chance that we must take advantage of."

The participants received not only knowledge, but also practical tools - how to work with Japanese partners, what standards to consider, where to find logistics support, and how to enter the market with a unique Ukrainian product.

🤝 When Ukrainian perseverance is combined with Japanese consistency, a formula for success is born. A formula that begins with meetings like this one. And it was here, in Odesa, that the next chapter of the Ukrainian-Japanese partnership took place. Let's move on.
