The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has published a draft order that provides for amendments to the Rules for Testing Thoroughbred Horses of Trotting, Saddlebred and Draft Horses at Hippodromes of Ukraine. Its main goal is to update the names of traditional prizes, taking into account the modern legal and value orientations of the state 🏆.

❗️ Why is this important?

The issue was initiated by key industry stakeholders at the working group meetings in February and March 2025, and the discussion ended with a consolidated decision to change the names that could contain references to prohibited symbols or did not correspond to the spirit of the of the new Ukraine 🇺🇦.

✅ Financial efficiency: Does not require additional budgetary expenditures.
