On 05 June, the Avangard community hosted an event that united the hearts of farmers from all over Ukraine - the Field DayThe event was organised at the initiative of the Institute of Climate-Smart Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and personally by its director, Academician Raisa Vozhegova.

💪This day was a real celebration for all those who have dedicated their lives to the land and farming. Guests gathered from different parts of Ukraine - from Kharkiv to Vinnytsia regions - to exchange experiences, learn about the latest achievements in agricultural science and share their achievements.

✍🏻На The event showcased the best varieties of barley and wheat grown with climate change and modern agricultural technologies in mind. These varieties are characterised by high yields, drought and disease resistance, which is extremely important in the context of climate change and the challenges facing Ukrainian agriculture.

Raisa Vozhegovaopening the event, emphasised: "Today, we are not just demonstrating the results of our work - we are showing that Ukrainian science is able to meet the most difficult challenges of our time. Our agrarians are people with a capital P, who prove their commitment to the land and the people every day."

📢 The event was made especially emotional by speech by Alla Stoyanovawho noted: "Field Day is not just about technology and harvests. It's about the strength of our farmers' spirit, their resilience and faith in the future. Each ear of grain contains labour, hope and love for the land. And even in the most difficult times, we see how the Ukrainian peasant does not give up, but rather finds new ways to develop."

🌾In recent years, thanks to the introduction of the latest agricultural technologies and breeding achievements, yield of wheat in Ukraine increased by 15%This is a testament to the effectiveness of scientific approaches and the work of farmers.

The Field Day in the Avangard community has become a vivid example of how science, practice and love for the land can unite people, inspire new achievements and strengthen faith in a better future.
