Accepting applications for farmers for a budget subsidy of UAH 4000 per 1 ha

Starting from 20 August 2024, the State Agrarian Register (SAR - https://www.dar.gov.ua) will resume accepting applications for a budget subsidy per unit of cultivated land (1 hectare). This financial support will be a significant help for agricultural producers who own or use up to 120 hectares of agricultural land.

Accepting applications for farmers for a budget subsidy of UAH 4000 per 1 ha

Starting from 20 August 2024, the State Agrarian Register (SAR https://www.dar.gov.ua) applications for a budget subsidy per unit of cultivated land (1 hectare) have been resumed. This financial support will be a significant help for agricultural producers who own or use up to 120 hectares of agricultural land.

Conditions for receiving a subsidy

For Odesa region, the subsidy is provided in the amount of UAH 4,000 per hectare. This support is aimed at stimulating the development of small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises engaged in growing crops or other agricultural activities. Eligible producers can apply through the State Agency for Agrarian Policy and receive funds to cover the costs of farming.

The support programme is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for the use of funds allocated in the state budget to provide support to farms and other agricultural producers, approved by Resolution No. 918 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 16 August 2022. This document defines the conditions and mechanisms for granting subsidies to support farmers, providing them with additional resources for the development and improvement of their operations. The Unit Farmland Subsidy Programme aims to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian farmers by promoting their development and ensuring sustainable harvests. It helps small farms overcome challenges related to financial difficulties and creates conditions for further growth.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the agricultural sector, which includes not only financial assistance but also development programmes aimed at modernising and introducing new technologies in agriculture.
