🔴UKRAINIAN SEAPORTS ON THE WAY TO FULL DIGITALISATION: INTEGRATION OF CUSTOMS AND PORT COMMUNITY SYSTEM

Ukrainian seaports are making another confident step towards the digital future! In May, the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority signed a cooperation agreement that allows for the integration of two key systems:
✅ "Single window for international trade"
✅ Logistics port system DocPort

This means automatic data exchange without human intervention, fast processing of ship calls and cargo, and complete abandonment of paperwork at the port exit.

📦 What will change soon?

🔹 At the first stage:

✔️ Data on ship calls will be automatically sent to the customs
✔️ Start cargo operations - without manual data entry

🔹 At the second stage:

✔️ Information on the completion of customs clearance will be sent to the port system
✔️Вантажі will leave the port without paper documents and employee participation - everything is automated!

⏱️ Expected effect:

✔️ Save up to 6 hours on vessel registration
✔️ Reduced costs for shipowners
✔️ Increasing port capacity
✔️ Positive effect on Ukraine's foreign trade

⚓️ Despite the war, Ukrainian ports are not giving up. In the first quarter of 2025, they handled 23 million tonnes of cargo, working under the constant threat of attack. This stability is ensured by the heroic efforts of port workers, the Armed Forces, the Navy and partner digitalisation initiatives.

💬 Comment from the NGO "Agrarians of Odesa Region": "The integration of DocPort with customs is not just a technical reform. This is a strategic breakthrough for all Ukrainian exports. For the agricultural sector of Odesa region, which actively uses seaports to ship grain, sunflower, and pulses, this is a chance to reduce downtime, minimise costs, and become more competitive in the global market. We support digitalisation as it is a real step towards economic growth, even in the most difficult conditions of war."
