On 21 November, Izmail will host a pre-premiere screening of the documentary Bread Captain of Ukraine, about Oleksiy Vadatursky, the founder of NIBULON.
This is the story of a man with whom I had to work, communicate and learn to see far beyond the horizon.
His willpower, straightforwardness, and dedication to the land and Ukraine.
He could see the future - clearly, firmly, confidently.
Mr Vadatursky turned the field into meaning, labour into strength, grain into dignity.
"NIBULON grew not out of convenient circumstances, but out of character.
Out of responsibility to our land.
Out of love for Ukraine, which is neither ostentatious nor loud, but internal and unbreakable.
Today, NIBULON is a symbol of economic dignity. It is an example of how Ukrainian labour can be honest, bold and large-scale.
The film tells the story of how a boy from the village managed to build a world-class company.
But for me personally, this is a story about what a Ukrainian character should be like: firm, unbreakable, real.
I invite you to share this viewing to remember, feel and be inspired.
