On 24 May 2025, the city of Bolgrad hosted II International Bessarabian Economic Forumwhich brought together representatives of government, business, investors and experts from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Turkey and Norway. The event became a key platform for discussing strategies for the region's development under martial law and planning further joint actions in peacetime.

As an agrarian country, Ukraine has every chance not only to withstand these challenges but also to set a new vector of development on the global agricultural scene. In her speech, Ms Alla Stoyanova also presented an analysis of prices for major crops, noting trends in global markets and emphasising the importance of Ukrainian farmers adapting to these changes. She shared the best global practices of overcoming challenges and development that can be implemented in the Ukrainian context.
The II International Bessarabian Economic Forum confirmed the importance of such events for establishing international cooperation, sharing experience and attracting investment.
