👨‍🌾Господарство Stoyanov A.A. has made a significant step in the development of Ukrainian agriculture by launching an experiment in cotton growing. This project is unique for Ukraine.
And now, thanks to the team's efforts and perseverance, we have managed to get the first "boxes" of cotton, which is an important achievement for the domestic agricultural sector. Now we just have to wait for them to open.

👍The experiment was conducted on two types of land: dry (non-irrigated) and irrigated plots. This allowed us to check how the plant adapts to different conditions. The following key points were observed during cultivation:

1. Soil preparation: thorough tillage and organic fertilisation, ensuring optimal conditions for cotton growth.

2. Sowing of seeds: Seeds were sown in late May, when the soil warmed up to +15°C. This facilitated rapid germination and healthy growth of the plants.

3. Crop care: during the growing season, the farm applied the following care methods: regular weeding, mineral fertilisation, pest and disease control.

4. Irrigation: On irrigated land, a drip irrigation system is used to maintain optimal soil moisture levels. This approach helps to increase yields.

The farm received the first boxes of cotton, which became a symbol of the success of the next stage of this experiment. Alla STOYANOVA is passionate about the process of cotton ripening.

1. Sowing seeds: the birth of hope

In the spring, when the earth is filled with warmth and strength, cotton seeds are sown. The small seeds, which look ordinary at first glance, have a powerful potential. They fall into the prepared soil, as if plunging into the cradle of nature, where they receive everything they need for life. This is the first step on the way to creating something bigger.

2. Germination: the fragile sprout of new possibilities

After sowing, the first sprouts emerge from the ground. They are fragile but full of vitality. These green stalks rise towards the sun, seeking light and warmth, as if making their way through difficulties. At this moment, hope for a harvest is born.

3. Flowering: a magical spectacle of beauty

One of the most exciting stages in the life of cotton is flowering. Delicate flowers appear on the stems and change colour over several days, from white to pink and then to red. This dance of colours reflects the life cycle of the plant, its transformation and development. Cotton flowers symbolise beauty and fragility, as they will soon fall off, giving way to new fruits.

4. Box formation: a hidden gift of nature

After flowering, green boxes form in place of the flowers, inside which cotton fibre gradually ripens. They increase in size, gaining strength and ripeness. This stage symbolises hidden work, when nature works invisibly, creating its miracle under the thick shell of the boll.

5. Ripening and opening the boxes: a moment of triumph

The boxes are ripening and are about to open like sails in a gentle breeze. We are waiting for the opening of the snow-white fibre, which is the end result of a long process. This moment is a triumph of nature and human labour. The cotton will become visible, and with it will come pride in what we have achieved," says Alla STOYANOVA.

🇺🇦Вирощування cotton in Ukraine is not only of agricultural but also strategic importance. Cotton is a raw material for the production of nitrocellulose, which makes its cultivation important for the defence capability of our country. Expanding cotton cultivation in Ukraine contributes not only to the diversification of agriculture, but also to strengthening national security.
