Add to favourites

On 18 May, Bolgrad, the hospitable heart of Bessarabia, welcomed guests of the International Economic Forum. The best specialists, experts and business leaders gathered together to discuss topical issues and share their knowledge and experience. Almost 200 participants and 10 sections brought together those who have the strength and desire to build a strong and prosperous country.

⛳Agriculture is one of the main discussion areas of the forum. The latest trends in agricultural science, sustainable development issues, successful practices and innovations, government support and rural development are just a few of the topics discussed at the forum.

💬Taras Vysotskyi, acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, opened the forum by saying that "Odesa region is a land rich in history and agricultural traditions. During the war Odesa region has become a real agricultural rear. The state, for its part, is doing everything possible to help not only preserve but also strengthen the capacity of agricultural enterprises. Odesa region has a strong agricultural team Alla StoyanovaWe are always in touch. Contact us and develop the agricultural sector," said Taras Vysotskyi.

📑The forum programme was full of interesting and inspiring presentations. The speakers included leading scientists, successful farmers, government officials and international experts.

🤝Alla STOYANOVA, Head of the Agrarian Odesa Region deputy group of the Odesa Regional Council, shared her experience of introducing innovative technologies into the agricultural sector, spoke about existing support programmes and analysed changes in irrigation projects.

💬"Today we have gathered here to discuss important aspects of our common cause - agriculture. This sector is the basis for both the economic growth of our country and the well-being of future generations. First of all, I want to start with the most important thing - love for the land. Each of us knows that love for the land is not just words. It is daily work, care and attention. It is the ability to see a small seed as a future harvest and a simple plot of land as an inexhaustible potential. Our ancestors have always said that the land is our provider, our friend and our home. Our love for the land is manifested in the way we cultivate it, how we take care of its fertility, and how we preserve it for future generations.

Agriculture is not just a job, it is a way of life that we choose. And there is great power in this choice. Because it is through our love and respect for the land that it reciprocates with bountiful harvests, healthy animals and the well-being of our families. But love for the land and hard work cannot exist in a vacuum. For our agriculture to develop, we need government support. And here I would like to thank our government for the measures that are already being taken to support farmers.

Subsidies, grants and soft loans play a huge role in the life of every farmer. Thanks to government support, we can introduce new technologies, increase the productivity of our farms and improve the quality of our products. This is not just help - it is an investment in the future of our agriculture, in the future of our country. We must ensure that every farmer feels supported and confident in the future. We need to develop infrastructure, introduce innovations, train our young professionals and create conditions for their implementation. This is the only way we can ensure sustainable development of our agricultural sector and contribute to the economic prosperity of our country," emphasised Alla Stoyanova.

💥The unique agricultural forum was a real source of inspiration and new knowledge for all participants. This event demonstrated that even in difficult conditions, agriculture can thrive through innovation, cooperation and experience exchange. The hospitable environment, interesting speeches and fascinating presentations made the forum an unforgettable event that laid the foundation for new projects and achievements in the agricultural sector.
